Anyway we can get that stuff over here? Anchor Steam (San Francisco, CA; probably one of the tastiest beers in America (my opinion)) is now almost $9 a 6pk if & when you can find it in Vegas. That's 8 cents an ounce! The brew at Hofbrau Haus replica is hugely expensive, too, although it is truly authentic German Beer. It is shipped in from Germany, not licensed for local brew like Fosters, the Aussie beer did. Labatts's (Canada) brews it now...yuch! When I first got back from GAP in '88, I was able to get Augustiener in Tucson, AZ, for a couple of months.

Sorry..my math was flawed. Anchor Steam is 12.5 cents an ounce!! That's $16 a gallon...and we thought gas was bad ($2.49/gal this morning)
