Anne !!!!  I am so glad to hear from you again.   You sound great.  I am sorry to hear about your mum!  I rememebered that your dad had died.  We had some nice times at Gasthof Chiemsee and the bar with them! I remember how odd it seemed to go out drinking with the parents.  They were in the bar the night we were dancing with those two kids who turned out to be axe murders!  Do you remember that?? I can't believe your kids are 17 and 13!!  That puts time in perspective, egads. How is Jayne?  Do you ever hear from Michelle and Mick?  I lost touch with them too. Do you still have a rat as a pet?

Phil and I now have two children! Yep, Pip and Lusty the parents of two boys.  They are nearly 4 and 1.  I am still with Continental Airlines, living now in N.C.  We live a quiet life. We have kind of joined the witness protection program after the antics at Chiemsee. :)

We posted the picture of you and I have more good ones.

We haven't been back to England in 4 years, but will look you up when we are back over there.  Stay in touch.  Laura and Pip

Hi Everyone, How's it goin'?

I found this website by complete accident and was amazed just how many people are still in touch AND that a photo with me and Jayne was in the gallery so I sent her a link and maybe she'll logon sometime.

For those who don't know I am now back in England and have been since 1993, I came back to go to uni and got myself a degree in theology and eventually became an RE teacher. No longer an RE teacher but work for a homeless charity where I write resources for adult basic skills including ICT as well as teach in the hostels. I also do some online teaching of teachers for the uni here in Hull.

Maerlyn, remember..... my son is now 17, has long hair, piercings, tattoo, wears black and plays bass guitar; he's doing his A levels in Physics, Maths and IT. Joel, my daughter, is 13 and is very clever and very bossy, gets in trouble at school all the time for telling the teachers they are wrong and does not suffer fools lightly! Remind you of anyone? I love them both very, very much and we form a very tight family of three.

For those of you who remember my mom and dad, unfortunately they both died. My dad died in 1995 and then my mom in 2003; my mom had moved to Australia to live near my brother, Jayne also lives there and has done so since...crikey!....about 1985!!

Anyway, I'm at work now so must look like I'm doing something.

Lots of love and hugs, Anne :)

Hi Anne!

Boy was it good to see you show up on the site! I have truly been wondering about how you and the kids are. Sounds great! As you have probably read already, Christina is now 30 years old and has a wonderful husband, Stefan, and a beautiful one-year-old daughter, Emma. I still have a picture of her playing with Maerlyn in the bar. Will post it soon. I sure would like to see your kids now. Danny is going to be 29 in May. He is living in Traunstein with his fiancĂ©e, Susan. They have really good jobs and a lovely life together. Guess the crazy life at the Chiemsee wasn't so bad after all??? I talk to Mike Huffman every weekend. He is living in Flensburg, working with juvenile delinquents. Hey, if you like, send us a phone number and I'll give you a call sometime! We have really good rates over here. Hope to hear you soon.

Love

Hello you lot!

George, I heard you were some big engineer now, is that right? And Barbara, how the hell are ya?!! Trevor Cox!!! Wow!! It's really ages! I've been in touch with a few of you all on and off over the years, Laura, Joe, Mike Huffman, Nancy, Amy, but have lost touch with everyone due to the way time seems to pass by so swiftly and crazily.

Believe it or not I was clearing out on the weekend - I'm planning on joining my sisters Lynn and Jayne and my brother Andrew in Australia in about two years so am beginning early - and ended up spending ages going through photographs from Chiemsee - anyone know what happened to Anne from Liverpool, she married that squaddie - and wondered what had happened to everyone. I'd love to post a couple of them if I knew how!

I do intend to take the kids to Chiemsee so they can see where they were born, it'll be sometime within the next 12 months, possibly this summer, but I will post here when I know so if anyone is around maybe we can meet up?

Right, I'm off to bed, I told Laura earlier on, I've been RPG'in for two days now and need to get some sleep tonight as I'm beginning to see the knights and dragons in the house now!!

Anne

Hey Anne!

A bunch of us are meeting up on the weekend of Aug. 5th down in Bernau. Maybe you could make it then? Trevor Cox, Ron Estrella, Al Warren, Ted Hassinger, Bert Tavender, Steffie Karl, Mike Huffman...to name a few. We'd love to see you and the kids! How about that phone number? Want me to call? Keep in touch.

Love

Barbara
