hello wow this site brings back the past! hey my name is steve I worked at the lodge handing out ski boots, greatest time of my life! what was the name of the band at int. bar and grill, great cover band i think it was the jets? also, what was the bartenders name there? I have some photos of that time in garmisch ill post! tks steve howell

Hi, There were a few bartenders, big Frank the Bavarian, Paul Badger on occasion, Brian McDonald, a feisty little guy, & one other tall Californian, Fred. I worked as a glasswasher at the Grill from 74 to 75, but didnt leave Garmisch for good until 78 when I left for Asia returning to visit Bob Borzellino & a bunch of others in 80, & 81. thanks, when i was in garmisch the us hockey team came to play the german team, lost, then big frank and me made a bet, i remember me and him watched the usa and ussr semi final game', he was going nuts, i think the other bartender maybe paul, did he date a blonde who worked at the ice cream shop? I also played on basketball team with the civilians, the capitain had long black hair, do u remember him? then there was a blonde that sang folk music at the hauseberg, did u know any body at the hauseberg? I was stationed up by bremerhaven 2 AD FWD. i wish there were more photos! tks steve
