Any work for Americans in Germany

Not for me but for someone that some of you may well know. I'm try to find out if there is any work for an American in Germany if you have any information or ideas please let me know.
It is for an old friend that is an American who is already in Germany but that hasn't been paid in almost a year.
I'll pass all theinformation that I get.

I don't know that i can actualy help this friend of mine and a friend of some of yours as well.
He was given a mnth to leave Germany and today is his deadline.

Well depends on his situation, ie does he have a work permit?
