New to the site. I first visited Chiemsee in 78 and worked there during part of 79. I think I have the years right. I roomed with a few GIs and partied, sailed and partied some more with those stationed at Chiemsee. I'd be interested in hearing from those there at the time and if they have kept in touch with anyone, GI or hotel worker (most of us were travelers needing a paycheck to continue our travels). Obe What is your name ? I was there in 81 for the summer and may know some of the same people. I was a life guard and did alot of sailing myself along with alot of drinking. Lived upstairs in room 260 then moved across the autobahn with my girlfriend that worked in the restaurant. Dave Smith
