HI Mick.

Had a good meeting with Carla the other week, spoke allot about the days at AFRC. Have been pretty busy here at work. I am thinking of taking my helicopters licence and had a few lessons last week-pretty interesting!! I have been doing allot of gliding recently before the bad weather breaks.

I will confirm my trip next year after a few issues at home have been sorted. Happy birthday to Carla from London.

Mick where in Florida does Joey live-I fly over on Xmas day for a visit.

Hope you are well, of course we will have a beer or two when we meet. Hope Amanda and Grace are well.

Look after yourself buddy.

Hi Trevor, Doris, Steffi, Mark, Lori and the many others out there,

I'd like to add my greetings to all the See-ons who post at or watch this site.  Trevor, thanks for starting this message thread.  It seems to have elicited alot of responses.  It's good to hear from so many people from the Rasthaus.  Even though we've kept in touch with a few people, sadly we've lost touch with so many others over the years.

John Kottcamp and I settled back in Seattle after living for several years in the San Francisco area and then in Miami when John was working for Lufthansa airlines.  We've been married for 16 years and have a four year old son, Kristian.  Before I left work several years ago to become a full-time mom, I administered trust accounts for people with disabilities.  For those who remember our intrepid kitty, Katze - she is still with us after 18 years, albeit moving pretty slowly these days.

To everyone, I wish you all have a wonderful Christmas!  Doris, if you run into Hans in Bavaria, say hi from us, and Trevor or Lori, please say hello to Yvonne from me next time you're in touch.  Take care, all.

Teresa (Martin) Kottcamp

Hi Lori,

Yes I knew Meg when she worked with Frau Bauer as linen keeper (I think).  Remember her and Frau Tanzer?  Tanzer the Panzer we called her with her tight-fitting leopard skin outfits!  I started as chambermaid with Yvonne and Denny, then worked at the Tours Desk with Frau Braun, then later as Bob Divine's assistant.   Wow, brings back alot of memories!

Wow,

it's great that we all are catching up, I need yvonne to get on here and post, she stayed a lot longer than me. I left to go work in B-Garden to be near my (now) husband who was stationed there.

I stayed there for 6 months before Joe's tour was up and then came over to Michigan and got married.

22yrs ago amazing!

I remember Frau Tanzer, how about Meg do you ever hear from her?

Yvonne and I stayed in touch, she even came to stay a couple of times.

I used to get postcards from her all over the world, how envious I was.

she is in PA with 2 boys around 9 and 11

mine fella is 17 now and taller than me.

wanted more but it never happened oh well.

I used to work at AFRC Chiemsee I think it was about 20 years ago I remember the Band Aid concert was held and I was in a row boat drinking beer.

I used to work on the desk then moved to Recreation, I worked with Ron Estrela, Mark Wakeman, Al and many others. I would like to hear from people who I worked with, lots of them were English.

Thanks.
