We have been getting together in August for several years in the Northeast. NH, MA, VT and NY. This year we return to NH and to North Conway in the White Mountains. If you're in the area stop by or just plan on being here. It's very low key but fun. Golf, Beer, Hiking, Beer, the lake, Beer and if you don't like Beer not a problem. We have it it all and it includes a couple of great BBQ's too.

If you're thinking of coming let me know.
Dates: 7th, 8th and 9th of Aug 2009.

normgray@aol.com.

Look forward to seeing you.

Hello people. I will be doing a slow road trip to North Conway via Jenness Beach. Julia and I will be at the Dunes on the 5th and 6th before heading north to meet with all you old-timers. Anybody in the area, stop in at the beach and we'll make a caravan of it. Arrive at the same time and just totally inundate Norm with demands for cheeseburgers and beer.

Russ, sorry to hear you got laid up this winter. We can exchange stories - mine a superb faceplant off a kicker.

Paul Lambres... any chance you'll back east for the event?

Cheers, S.McC

Aug 7-9, 2009....come early or stay late no problem. It's getting close and we want to have a strong east coast showing. we can sleep quite a few in the house and with tents even more in the yard. This is an open house reunion. Hope you can make it.  If your past the “I can sleep any where stage“ there are several hotels with walking distance.

So far the longest comitted attendee is Patty Pollack....Larry Greene in HI....could beat her...come on out.

Golf, Fishing, Hiking, Bars, Food, Rafting, Kyak

Oops... I know I was supposed to post my reply at least a month ago! Better late than never. I'm coming over on Friday with lots of good food and drink. Also bringing a long time buddy who is now an adoptee and knew Russ Rankin from teaching at Wildcat in early 70's. Sunshine

Norm, I did your message just haven't been able to tell you if we are coming. I am finally retiring from the Army...

So I might not have time but we'll see.

I'll keep you posted.

Norm, thnaks for letting Penthouse know about the Northeast Reunion in N.Conway. He forwarded it to me. I live in Londonderry, NH. 2.3 hour cruise North. Even though I have to work on the 7th I plan on being there either that evening or the next morning with Weiss beer in hand (or should I say the cooler). Be so kind to respond to let me know which campground we are invading. This wll be my first venture with the Northeast crew and am sooooooo looking forward to it.

Am just recovering from a subdural hematoma received while skiing last winter. So I will be there and hope for lots to join us. I'm lucky to be upright and would like to celebrate with lots of old AFRCers. Russ Rankin

Norm,

It's always a great gathering in North Conway. Deb & I look forward to seeing all you AFRCers there and hopefully we'll be joined by some new faces this year. Russ, glad to hear you are recuperating from your on-snow collision. See ya there .
