Please forward this information to someone who may know about this pin or where to get one. It is just over an inch across. I will buy one from someone to replace the one I had. I have a display I need to add it to.Thank you if you can spare one.
I have a picture of it somewhere and a copy of my issue letter to receive this pin. Who would have thought I would learn downhill skiing on an US Air Force/US Army base in the Bavarian Alps? It was great to see Golden Eagles flying there next to the "Eagles nest." Significant huh?
Here is the information and day I was given this pin if it helps:

Who knows, you might be able to reach one of these two men from 25 yrs ago?
I was just glad to have that "AFRC Edelweiss pin" as my ski school graduation award in such an amazing place.

I know you gave a pretty good description of the pin you are trying to replace, but a photo of it sure would be better. Are there any photos of you wearing it?
