(if this Thread appears twice my apologies - the previous submission seemed to disappear into the ether!)  Jack Kimes was Director of Hotel Ops (GAP) cerca '82/'85. He, his wife Babs and son John lived in an appartment at the then PX building. His job in Hotel Ops took him to all the AFRC facilities so he would have been known to many.

I got to know the family 'cos he was my "boss" - I was an AFRC resident musician working with the band Times Square at the Abrams Hotel and later with Double Vision, a guitar/drums duo working at the Patton/Von Stueben/Gen.Abrams Hotels. The band and the Kimes family spent much leisure time together and the guitarsist, Pete, gave lessons to young John who showed great promise as a lead guiarist.

When they relocated to Florida, dispite promises to keep in touch, I lost contact. I would love to hear any news of the family so if anyone out there can help it would be great. Roger (Animal-drummer)
