Hi Sandra

Theres loads of us Garmishers scattered around Incline Kings Beach Reno Carson etc allways having a few Spatens or some of Keiths German style homebrews....I also know about 20 people working at the Hyat and I ve been known to hang out on the pier there on my beer stops around the lake.

There are all sorts of AFRC types in (Well, not IN Lake Tahoe) and around Lake Tahoe. Incline, Kings Beach, Truckee, Tahoe City and South Lake Tahoe all have one to several AFRC folks in residence. I just moved from Truckee after 29 years there. The core group of this AFRC and reunion website had their AFRC days in the early to mid 70's. The group is ever expanding and we had folks at the last reunion with AFRC ties as early as 1963 and as recent as 1993. We have had 5 reunions in Truckee-Lake Tahoe-Donner Summit since 1979 and one summer reunion up at Gold Lake. So, I suspect you might be a bit younger than most of this group, you are welcome to join in the fun.
You can email me and I will give you more information if you like.

Yes stop by for a beer or something. I will be off for the next few days as I am going to LA but will be back at work on Tuesday. I usually start at 9am and get out at 6 pm. My days off are usually Sunday and Monday.

So, I look forward to seeing you at the Lone Eagle Grille.

Hi guys

Actually I am a Garmisch resident (or lets better say not anymore) who just moved to Tahoe. A friend of mine who is working at the Marshall Center in Garmisch just gave me the hint to that homepage to find out if any of you guys who had been stationed in Germany or working in Germany are living somewhere near that area.

It would be great to meet some of you guys or maybe find some of the people I already met in Garmisch this way.

I am working at the Hyatt in Incline Village (North Tahoe) and yeah if you are planning a reunion in this area and I could be helpful to you I would be more then happy to do so.

Hope to hear from you

Sandra
