Reading these post are bringing back allot of memories, mostly good.


I last saw Big Bill and Danny Grannie in Thailand on or about 1984. They probably won't remember being there if you know what I mean. I saw Mark Lundtrum and Janet in San Francisco on or about 1985.


Here's a few more people I remember


Fat Paul and Doug. I think they were from Chico Cal.


 Joel Samuals, Kevin Maloney, Bonnie, Joe Rodrigous, Dagmar, Donna Gugel, Rob Rabino AKA Rob bob, Mike and Nancy Rawlins, Pat, Patty, Nigel, Sally, Maxine, The Bomber, Goldie, Bombers brother ( can't remember his name) and Dan Bishop that's me, anybody remember me.


What was the real name for the last Chance. It started with Ps I think.


Anybody living in the Seattle area


What ever happened to everybody.

Bomber & Goldie are still around though I havent seen them since Chiang mai in 98, but I got an Email from Goldie in July, & Bombers brother last time I saw him he was about to marry a Korean businesswoman 10 years older than he in Seoul 1979, & he was planning on getting married in sandals with long hair & a beard, & she wore Gucci. I believe there was a certain financial remuneration involved in this. Apart from that I see Diana murphy occasionally, & Bob Borzellino & talk to Steve & Rita Dwight.

Hi Dan,

I was at Chiemsee in 1984 and only had a passing knowledge people in Garmisch, but I do live in Seattle these days.

How are you doing? Been a long time.


Did you stay in Garmisch all this time?


Great pictures especially the one with almost everybody except me at the last Chance. Is there anyway to get a copy of it. I think that was the year we left for SE Asia.


I miss the times in Garmisch.  I almost went back a few times but responsibilities kind of got in the way.

Thanks for the info, if you see Bomber & Goldie Rachel & I will be in Paris in March & Thailand & Nepal in May. Rachel is going on a kora (Circumambulation )round Mt. Kailash in April, I did it 5 years ago, & then we will meet in Kathmandu in mid -May & afterwards Bangkok. I will be going either to eastern Tibet, or scuba diving in Bali in May, depends on whether my friend in Tibet is available. Hope to see B & G somewhere,

A lot of those names are here in Tahoe.or surrounding area.Mark and Janet Lundstrum,The Goslins,Dany and Jackie Grandfield,Jim Freeman Scott and Fred Boyd Keith Conboy.Scotish Vince..Guest appearances from Fat Paul and House,,in fact theres a whole load of us who gather in the woods by a lake in Sept Oct(date to be confimed)and drink about 50 gallons of german beer,some made by Keith Conboy and eat german food and generally have a competitive beer swilling weekend.


I m the host next year so stay tuned.
