yes Zack an I were good friend did a lot of crazy stuff toghether, what happend to him , who knows.
I was in GAP from 90 to 92 ,worked at the Von Steuben as a cook with Chef Barbara, suchef John (puppy) Matt & Buba from Oregon, British Clive , British Julie , Masson who was dateing Julie, Kevin (big black guy with afro 70's stile), Irish Emett who I was room mates with,and gosh so many others , another guy that comes to my mind but i cant remember his name , tall dude with glasses from SF whos cusin also arrieved after a bit.
I hung out alot with Zack, British Clare , Sonya( crazy american gal from Texas), Dave the Wave(wild half Hungarian and half british guy , that buy the way is still there) ,Clive and so many otheres , wish i was not so drunk or stoned all the times back then , then maybe i would remeber a bit better!
In 92 I left for France to do some greap picking with Dave the Wave and Clive who tried to do the trip with his bick(he only made 1/3 then he jumped on a train lol).
Spent 2 months in france chillin then whent back home to italy where I lived till 2000, then I moved to California where I still am today with my whife and 2 kids.
I dont know if you have read my previus post or not , I am trying to get some folks do download a really cool Videochat program thats called Camfrog.
It allows you to open your own personal room for free , and the qualiti is amazing.
Each room also has the use of a mic wich
has outstanding performance , it really leaves MSN, SKYPE, ecc in the dust.
It would be so cool to get all these folks toghether in a place like this so after dinner or whatever could get toghether and have a chat for an hour or two just talkin about the old days without leaving our homes.
You can find the program at www.camfrog.com its really easy to install, and as I allredy said , its free!
It's an international program with people from all over the world , that may be one of the reasons why I like so much , a little like GAP I guess.
When you have activated the program you can have your own contact list, simply click on your client at "actions" and the "add contact" my Camfrog nick name is "italiadario".
Once you have your contact simply right click on the nickname and select "im user" and you will see a little pvt chat box.
I would be more than happy to show you around the program, it's a small world , who knows who we will find!!
I consider my self so lucky , the times we had in GAP was a privelege not all can say they had.
And now its all gone changed , everything is different.
My kids will never be able to have the experience that i did.
It's a pitty!
