What an alumnus!! We all share something that few others in the world can claim-we lived, loved, lied, and laughed for some time in Garmisch. I just found this website and would love to hear from any and all who lived in Garmisch in '77-'79. I was Garmisch Recreation Officer and ran the ski school, ski patrol, ski team, etc., in the winter and all summer sports in summer. My wife, Donna, and I (with Pete and Donna Dascoulias) led several climbs from Partenkirchen to the Zugspitze summit during the summers of '78 and '79. We have way too many memories to hold on to--would love to share some of them with you. We would also welcome any and all pictures (and will share ours) from anyone of that time frame. Hi Joe, I taught skiing on the Hausberg and Zugspitze in 1978-79. I don't know if you're still checking this thread so I'll send you a quick note. Great times!
