Bill (Bilbo) with Dave Oakland were skiing on the Jenner in 1979,(Jan 9) Bilbo fell near the front face above the mittelkasse, on a huge rock causing serious injury by breaking two of his ribs puncturing both lungs. The result is he went into an immediate coma and they airlifted him to Salzburg Hospital but died 10 days later. He is buried in B'gaden. I visited his grave just last January 08, and noticed someone has been taking care of it. Dave as I understand moved now to Italy.
